About Our Recruitment Process
At Roots, we pride ourselves on being a low-barrier-to-entry organization. We value genuine passion for community impact and small businesses above all else, no prior consulting experience required.
Our recruitment process is designed to help you explore what you care about and what you’d like to learn, while also giving us the chance to get to know you beyond a resume.
Info Sessions and Coffee Chats are OPTIONAL, but highly encouraged. They’re a great way to learn more about our current projects, connect with Project Managers, and get a feel for our club culture from members and leadership.
We strongly recommend participating so you can decide whether Roots is the right fit for YOU, just as much as we’re learning about you.
Lastly, our written application is REQUIRED and includes just 1 short-answer question, where you’ll reflect on a small business you care about and which projects align with you best.
